We vergelijken ons altijd enorm met anderen. Wij willen er ook zo graag uitzien, zo dun, zo knap, zo onschuldig. Het maakt ons onzeker om modellen en actrices te zien. We willen net zo zijn als zij. Denk maar aan de Mean Girls, die zijn gewoon perfect. Alles wat bij ons gebeurt, vergelijken we met iemand anders hoofdrol. Want wat er met ons gebeurt, gebeurd die mensen niet, toch? Zij zijn immers perfect, zullen nooit leed meemaken. Maar wanneer jij je eigen geschiedenis en verhalen gaat vergelijken met hoe zij zijn, dan ontdek je niet wat er schuilgaat achter diegene. Al is diegene nog zo slank, misschien was diegene dat vroeger helemaal niet. Iedereen is onzeker, het maakt niet uit hoe knap je bent, welke huidskleur je hebt of wat je draagt. We vergelijken ons met anderen, en dat zullen we de rest van ons leven blijven doen. Maar dat is nergens voor nodig, want je bent goed zoals je bent. Jij bent jij, en perfecter dan dat bestaat niet.

We often compare ourselves with others. We want to look like them, that thin, that pretty, that innocent. It makes us insecure when we see models and actresses. We want to be like them. Think about the Mean Girls, they’re just perfect. Everything that happens with us, we compare with someone else’s main role. Because whatever happens with us won’t happen to those people, right? They’re perfect, will never deal with sadness and pain.  But when you compare your own history and stories with who they are, you won’t find out what’s behind that person. Even though that person looks thin, that person couldn’t have been that way when he or she was younger. Everyone is insecure, it doesn’t matter how beautiful you are, what your skin colour is or what you’re wearing. We always compare ourselves with others, and we will do this for the rest of our life. But you don’t need to do that, because you’re good enough, just the way you are. You are you, and it can’t get any more perfect than that.

Yes Yes Yes to this Quote! 1000%! I mean seriously! The people who, without you saying anything, can feel you and can describe you so well or really know who you are … listen: they are the people you have to cherish and who has to close in your heart.

I’m blessed with my hubbie and my two girlz, my two  cousins! Because they know me well. (We have known each other since we were around 6.8.9 years). So it is not strange that they know me so well! I am very grateful that I have them in my life! Thankful for my hubbie my soulmate and my girls: D & M Love you ladies and also shout out for me cousin G and niece M! They know who they are!

So yes, if you have people that really know you and can describe you exactly then they are the people who really care about you and have taken their time to get to know you and really want to make a part of your life. They support you because they  know you, where you are capable of and what is just totally not in your nature, to do. And we have to respect and appreciate that! 100% Especially because people nowadays do not seem to have any genuine interest anymore in one and other. There is almost I repeat almost always something behind there action. So if you have pure friendships, hold on to them. Yes, if you, just like me, are also blessed with people who will never not let you down in any circumstances and are always there for you, stand up for you if you’re not there … Then those are the people you very hard in your heart must close and must appreciate and take good care of them. And maybe you have not found those people yet, but that will still be ….. And even if it’s just one person, appreciate it because not everyone takes that time or keeps that interest for a long time ….

It’s the time you leave who is destined to stay in your life and who is not …. When everyone comes and goes and they are still there at every stage of your life, then you know! Yes, then you know!

Yes Yes Yes to this Quote! 1000%! I mean seriously! De mensen die je zonder dat je iets zegt je kunnen aanvoelen en je zo goed kunnen beschrijven of echt weten wie je bent… listen: zij zijn de mensen die je moet koesteren en die in je hart moet sluiten!

I’m blessed with my hubbie and my two girlz, mijn neef en nicht! Because ze kennen me goed. (We kennen elkaar ook sinds we rond de 6,8,9 jaar waren ). Dus het is niet strange dat ze mij zo goed kennen! Ik ben heel dankbaar dat ik ze in mijn leven heb! Thankful voor mijn hubbie mijn soulmate and my girls: D & M Love you ladies en ook shout out voor mij favoriete neef  G en nicht M! They know who they are!

So yes, als je mensen hebt die je echt kennen en je precies kunnen beschrijven dat zijn de mensen die echt om je geven en hun tijd hebben genomen om je te leren kennen en ook echt oprecht deel willen maken uit je leven. Ze komen voor je op because they just know you, waar toe je in staat bent en wat gewoon totally not in je aard zit,  they just know en daar moet je respect voor hebben en ook waardering. Especially omdat mensen tegenwoordig niet echt oprecht interesse meer voor elkaar lijken te hebben er zit bijna, I repeat bijna altijd iets achter. Dus als je pure vriendschappen heb hou ze vast. Yes, als jij net als ik, ook blessed bent met mensen die je in geen enkele omstandigheid je in de steek zullen laten en er altijd voor je zijn, voor je opkomen als je er niet bent… Dan zijn dat de mensen die je heel hard in je hart moet sluiten en moet waarderen en goed voor ze moet zorgen. And maybe heb je die personen nog niet gevonden maar dat komt nog wel…..En al is het maar one person koetseer het want niet iedereen neemt die tijd of houdt die interesse voor een langdurige tijd vol….

Het is de tijd die je laat zijn wie bestemd is om in je leven te blijven en wie niet…. Wanneer iedereen komt en gaat en zij er in elke fase van je leven er nog steeds zijn, then you know! Yes, then you know!
